Dietitians On Demand 2024 Year End Awards – YEA!

At Dietitians On Demand, we take great pleasure in highlighting our amazing dietitians. For the seventh year in a row, we are proud to feature a group of dietitians who excel at representing Dietitians On Demand.

In 2024, our consultant dietitians worked more than 247,000 hours. We also found out that 93 percent of our clients would request the same dietitian from us again and 95 percent of our employee dietitians would recommend Dietitians On Demand to a friend or colleague.

Here are the 2024 award winners:

Most Unforgettable: Gabriel Lopez, MS, RD

Earlier this year, Gabe took control of a potentially dangerous situation while on assignment, when an aggravated guest brought a weapon onto the premises. Gabe kept his composure, handled the situation professionally, and was able to defuse everything before it escalated. It was truly an unforgettable moment!

It Takes Two, Best Dietitian Duo: Margaret Wooldridge, RDN, LD and Cecilia Fei, RD, LD, CNSC:

This duo works together at a transplant clinic. Together they have worked with limited oversight to build and grow the successful program. Job-sharing duties started in June 2024 and while the assignment was initially scheduled for 6 months, the duo’s coverage was extended into 2025.

Golden Suitcase Award: Alison Dobbs, MS, RDN, LDN

Alison has worked with us in Florida, Virginia, New York, and Pennsylvania. She is always on top of her game and is kind, communicative, and gracious every step of the way. She alternates between acute care and long-term care roles, and also loves to post about her travels on social media!

Up For Anything Award: Lauren Sales, RDN/LDN

Lauren has so far worked fourteen assignments for us, and occasionally she juggles a few jobs at the same time! She is always willing to accept challenges and has referred and mentored many dietitians along her journey. She is always helpful at the sites and receives wonderful feedback and appreciation from our clients.

Best All-Around Dietitian: Necia Knuchel, MS, RDN, LDN

Necia has worked with Dietitians On Demand for over 10 years. She is smart as a whip, incredibly kind, and really showcases how working and fostering a relationship with our company will help support your career and growth as a dietitian. Necia has also written blog posts for us, sharing her expertise outside the clinical setting.

Most Valuable RD (MVRD): Zahid Salodawala, RD

Zahid’s first dietitian job out of college was working as a consultant dietitian for us. He spent the majority of the year working one travel assignment in Texas before starting a new assignment in California. His MVRD status was earned at that first assignment in Texas, working over 1,718.25 hours for a single client!

Rock Star Rookie: Haley Krupa, RDN, LD

Haley has worked two assignments with Dietitians On Demand after coming to us post-graduation. Both facilities she worked at gave amazing feedback on Haley, one even called Haley an “All-star, self-starter, kind, smart, and a great helper.” The client went as far as nominating Haley for a “human kindness award!” at their site.

Client’s Pick: Bethany Stein, RD, LDN

Bethany has been built strong relationships with multiple facilities during her time with Dietitians On Demand, and she consistently receives high praise from clients. In fact, several facilities within a single network continually request Bethany to come back. She’s worked 28 total assignments for us so far!

Most Special Specialist: Mayra Garcia, MHSN, RDN, LD

Mayra was newly hired to our Subject Matter Expert team at the beginning of 2024. Mayra has been instrumental in translating our existing store materials to Spanish and creating new outstanding content. She’s a pleasure to collaborate with, always bringing a positive attitude, and stepping in to assist wherever needed.
