Menu development and community nutrition outreach 

This is a unique community nutrition position where you would be working as the nutrition and wellness coordinator in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will be in charge of menu development for children aged infant to 5 years old at 10 different locations. 

Key Duties

  • Provide personalized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy for various medical conditions specifically working with children 
  • Assess and provide recommendations for patients ages infant to 5 years old
  • Utilize behavior modification strategies and techniques to optimal nutrition counseling
  • Evaluate achievement of learning objectives and provide appropriate treatment plan in accordance with patient goals
  • Utilize nutrition-related information systems and/or patient medical record systems to successfully document recommendations and progress
  • Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information
  • Ability to perform work independently with minimal training

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR
  • IN state dietitian license is required prior to starting position
