What’s the process for finding coverage?

We keep the process of finding a dietitian quick and easy. If you need staffing assistance, click here and fill out the form. At this stage, all we need to know is your contact information and some basic details about the facility and position you are hoping to fill. Within about one business day, one of our dedicated Regional Account Managers will contact you with the next steps.

What information is needed to request a dietitian?

To begin the process of finding your dream dietitian, we need to know the following:

• How many hours per week do you need coverage?
• What type of experience are you looking for (e.g., acute care, long-term care, foodservice, renal, pediatric, etc.)?
• What is the anticipated start date?
• What are the basic job duties for this position?
• Are there any unique onboarding requirements at your facility?

Do you have anyone in my area?

We have a nationwide network of dietitians. Generally, we begin searching locally to your facility. Depending on our success, we expand the search to include regionally located dietitians and even dietitians who are willing to travel to you.

Do you only fill temporary positions?

Dietitians On Demand can help you fill any dietitian position, whether direct hire, FMLA, vacancy, temp-to-perm, or any other temporary staffing needs. We can also assist with hiring CNMs and NDTRs.

How long will the process take to find a dietitian?

If you live in a metropolitan area or a location where we’ve previously staffed dietitians, it may only take us a few hours to find a dietitian. (Yes, you read that right…hours.) However, if you are located in a more rural area, it may take us a few days. We will do our best to find a dietitian as soon as possible, but please give us as much advanced notice as you can.

How does pricing work?

The bill rate is based on the length of the job assignment, the number of hours per week needed, and the location of the job.
