Starting at $73k annually + sign on bonus 

40 Hours/week | Start ASAP
300-bed acute care facility
Two years of food service/supervisory experience required, three years of nutrition experience required, masters degree preferred
Weekdays, 5 AM – 1:30 PM
Non-clinical role, provides supervision of the daily operations for dietary services; food production, catering, cafeteria service, receiving, and patient service. Supervising staff

This is a perfect position for a dietitian look for a permanent food service role. 

Key Duties

  • Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services based upon facility standards and patient population
  • Interpret government mandated nutrition standards in the healthcare industry to develop and/or revise facility menus
  • Oversee patient services staff in achieving patient satisfaction goals
  • Supervise tray line operation and room service program
  • Record safety and sanitation compliance, including department audits
  • Attend all departmental meetings, as appropriate
  • Experience with food service software
  • Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information
  • Ability to perform work independently with minimal training

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR
  • Massachusetts state dietitian license is required prior to starting position
  • Servsafe certification within six months of employment
  • Process improvement certification preferred
